Description: These whole black peppercorns remain on the vine much longer than other peppercorns, which affords them a deep, robust flavor with fruit-like notes. Tellicherry peppercorns are native to the Malabar coast of India, and are considered to be the finest pepper in the world. This is a wonderful, all-purpose pepper that should be in your kitchen pantry. Peppercorns release their pungency when cracked or ground, so very different results are achieved by working with whole versus ground pepper.
