  • Golden Milk


    2 cups almond or soy milk
    1/2 tsp turmeric powder or paste
    1/2 tsp maple syrup
    1/2 tsp flax seed oil

    In a saucepan, add the milk, turmeric paste and maple syrup, and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and allow cooling.Add flax oil at the end. Relax and enjoy the golden milk!

  • Maca Smoothie


    1 1/2 cups Almond, hemp or coconut milk
    1 to 2 tbsp Maca powder
    1 Serving of protein powder
    2 tbsp Ground flax seed
    Optional 1 Banana
    Optional Honey, agave or stevia to sweeten
    Optional Cinnamon or cacao powder for sprinkling

    Place all the ingredients into a high-speed blender and blend until desired consistency is reached. Pour into your favorite glass, and sprinkle your choice of topping or not.

    Simply enjoy!

  • Mulled Wine


    (750-ml) bottle red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon
    1 1/2 - 2 Tbsp Mulling Spice Blend
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup brandy
    dash of ground black pepper
    Orange juice (squeezed from at least half of an orange)
    Orange peel from a half of an orange (peel the skin and add to the wine mixture)

    In a large saucepan, combine the wine, mulling spice, sugar, brandy, black pepper, and orange juice. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Add pear slices and orange peel. Simmer for additional few minutes and then serve.

  • Moroccan Mint Tea

    2 cups

    1 Tbsp Green Tea
    1 Tbsp Spearmint leaves
    2 tsp sugar or maple sugar for taste

  • Spicy Hot Cocoa

    2 cups


    3/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 1/4 tsp Saigon cinnamon
    2 1/4 tsp ginger powder
    1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp cayenne powder

    Combine all ingredients together in a jar or a sifter and shake or sift the mix. Add the mixture to a saucepan of your favorite milk or milk substitute, heat and then pour into cups -- guaranteed to make your toes curl. The cayenne gives a little kick to this zesty beverage, enough to contrast the sweetness of the sugar and chocolate

  • Chai Tea

    2 small cups


    1 cup water
    1 tsp black tea, loose leaf
    1 1/2 cup whole milk
    2 Tbsp Chai Spice blend
    1 1/2 Tbsp sugar

    In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, black tea and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes, then add Chai Spice mix, milk and sugar. Bring to a boil again then reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.Strain the tea into the cup and discard the spices or loose tea. Serve immediately.

  • Solerno Blood Orange Cocktail

    I made this delicious cocktail drink with our raspbery-sugar for the rim it is fantastic!

    Please note: The raspberry sugar should be crushed a little finer to stick on the glass rim.

    2 parts vodka
    2 parts Solerno - blood orange liquor
    1 part blood orange juice
    1 part pomegranate juice

    Add ice and shake.

    I used raspberry sugar for rimming the glass, but feel free to use any of Whole Spice flavored sugars as a glass rimmer.
