Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:

2 sticks unsalted butter
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1 1/4 cups (225g) semisweet chocolate chips
5 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup sour cream

Set the oven to 350 with a rack in the middle.
Grease an 8-inch cake pan with butter or oil. Dust the pan with cocoa powder and set aside.
In a small pot, combine butter and whipping cream.
Set the pot on medium heat until the butter is melted.
Add chocolate chips and remove from heat.
Mix together until chocolate is melted.
In a mixing bowl, combine eggs , sugar and cocoa powder.
Beat until smooth, about 5 minutes on high speed.
Add melted chocolate mixture gradually and continue to beat.
Add sour cream and beat for two minutes.
Transfer the cake batter to the prepared cake pan and place in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
Let cool completely before serving with vanilla ice cream or whipping cream.
