Roasted Cauliflower and Sage


1 Medium-size head of cauliflower, cut into small florets
1 Tbsp Olive oil

3 Tbsp Olive oil
5 Garlic cloves, sliced
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Crushed dried sage
1/8 tsp Chili flakes
1/8 tsp Black pepper to season at the end

Pre-heat oven at 450° F

Place the cut cauliflower on a pan and drizzle 1 tbsp olive oil. Mix and cover. Bake covered for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and add seasonings. The seasonings can be prepared while the cauliflower is in the oven.

In a nonstick pan, heat up 3 tbsp of olive oil. Add sliced garlic and saute on medium heat for 3-5 minutes. Add sage, chili flakes and salt to the oil then saute for 30 seconds. Do not burn spices and garlic.

Drizzle spices and oil mixture over the cauliflower and gently coat. Season with black pepper and serve.
