Spiced Spreads for Sandwiches and More

Blend your selected spices with just enough olive oil, grapeseed oil, hummus or mayonnaise to make a spreadable paste, and smooth it onto your favorite bread. Add your chosen ingredients, side dishes and a drink to complete the meal. Some ideas to get you started:

Whole Spice Pesto Seasoning and olive oil, with fresh mozzarella and/or feta and sliced tomato (see photo);

Goat cheese, olive oil and Whole Spice Za'atar Spice Blend;

Whole Spice Harissa Coarse Ground and mayonnaise, with tuna, pickles, lemon and fresh vegetables;

Hummus with Whole Spice Zhug and fresh veggies;

Grilled chicken breast (seasoned with Whole Spice BBQ Spice blend) with mayo or mustard, hummus and fresh veggies;

Vegan option: Thinly-sliced tofu sprinkled with with Whole Spice Japanese Seven Spice, grilled on both sides and served on whole wheat bread with tahini sauce and fresh veggies;

And this one from a Whole Spice customer, via Facebook: “The Dill Seasoning is just fantastic as a fish dip for fish sticks. Just add it to a little of your fav. mayonnaise! 2 year old approves! Fish sticks got wheat flour and Mediterranean Blend as batter. Amazing!”
